Introduction: Leaders of India and ASEAN on Thursday discussed ways to boost maritime security, connectivity and trade, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India shares the ASEAN vision for rule-based societies and pitched for freedom of navigation in the region. Prime Minister Modi underscored the ever evolving ASEAN India partnership terming the summit as the grand finale of the joint year long commemorative activities orgnised among the nations. Prime Minister also expressed India's commitment to work with the ASEAN nations "to enhance collaboration in the maritime domain".
