Civil Services aspirants stage protest against UPSC to remove CSAT

क्या UPSC सिलेबस से सी-सैट हटेगा?

CSAT Protest at Delhi 201424 अगस्त को होने वाली सिविल सर्विसेस की प्रारम्भिक परीक्षा टल सकती है। छात्रों के विरोध प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए सरकार ने यूपीएससी से कहा है कि वो सीसैट (Civil Services Aptitude Test) का मसला हल करे। और उसकी बाद UPSC की आगे की परीक्षायें हों, लेकिन UPSC ने परीक्षा टालने का कोई सक्रिय फैसला नहीं लिया है। सी-सैट का विरोध कर रहे छात्रों का आरोप है कि इससे प्रकार के परीक्षा पैटर्न से अंग्रेजी के छात्रों को अधिक फायदा होता है।

Gaurav Agrawal from Jaipur tops Civil Services - 2013

For the first time in four years, a male candidate has topped the prestigious Civil Services Examination 2013, result of which where declared on Thursday. City-based Gaurav Agrawal has got the first rank in the exam with Economics as his optional subject.

He holds Bachelor of Technology (Computer Science) degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow.

He Said; "I realised that the duty of a civil servant is much more challenging and quite different. Here we understands the public issues and ground problems of people in the country. So, I finally decided to quit my bank job and returned to India from Bangkok for the preparations in 2011." This was his second attempt.

Haritha V Kumar from Kerala tops Civil Services Main - 2012

NEVER GIVING UP IS THE SECRET OF SUCCESS

Fulfilling the childhood dream Haritha V Kumar, a women from Kerala and her fourth and last attempt has back the first place in the Civil Service Examination for the first time from the state since 1991. The delighted topper says " Never giving up was the secret behind her success".

Meet UPSC Topper Haritha V Kumar, 27 year old from Kerala went on to become the topper of the UPSC for 2012.

"After graduation I started my preparing for civil services, First time wrote and I couldn't qualify the mains, so didn't get any interview call but I was 18 marks shorten the interview. Then in second attempt and during my second attempt I was placed in 179 rank (CSE 2010), since I had not preferred IPS, I came straight to IRS. Then I had given third attempt and my rank slipped to 290 but I didn't loose the hope, and I thought that one more attempt left so I gave it."
